François de MITRY has been appointed Managing Partner

François de MITRY becomes Managing Partner of Astorg, after having been a Partner and member of the Investment Committee since 2012. During those years, he led numerous operations (Megadyne, the sale of Linxens, SGG, Parkeon, Audiotonix, etc.) and contributed to the development of Astorg outside France. François is based in London, where he heads the Astorg office.

François previously worked at Intermediate Capital Group PLC (1997-2012), where he was appointed Managing Director and gradually assumed responsibility for all investment activities.

Aged 51 and a graduate of Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris and Université Dauphine Paris IX, François de Mitry began his career in London in the M&A and LBO departments of HSBC and Société Générale respectively.


Niklas EINSFELD is appointed Partner

Niklas will be based in Frankfurt, where Astorg is opening a new office.

Niklas Einsfeld previously held the position of Director at Permira Betelligungsberatung GmbH (Frankfurt, Germany). Aged 43, Niklas holds an MBA from the European Business School of Oestrich·Winkel (1999 - Germany). He began his career as an analyst with Merrill Lynch in London (1999), then took up the post of Vice-President M&A at Deutsche Bank London in 2005. Two years later, Niklas joined the Investments team of Permira Betelligungsberatung GmbH, where he was subsequently promoted to Director.


Thibault VEBER is appointed Associate Director

Since 2013, Thibault Veber had been Director at Nomura in London, within the Leveraged Finance team. He carried out senior duties within the acquisition finance and high-yield operations team at Citigroup in London (2010-2013). Thibault is based in London, and heads the Group’s debt financing activities.

Aged 36 and a graduate of HEC Paris (2006), Thibault began his career as an analyst with Citigroup in Paris (2006-2010).
