Astorg Partner Promotions Announced

We are delighted to welcome Michael Beetz, Benjamin Cordonnier, Michal Lange and Viviana Occhionorelli to the Astorg partnership. All have been significant contributors to the firm, each in their own way, making their individual distinct impact on our collective success whilst acting as true culture carriers of the firm's key values. It is with great pride and enthusiasm that we have asked them to join our partnership.

Michael Beetz is part of the Industrials team with a strong focus on Germany. He has also recently been focusing the majority of his time on the fundraising of Astorg VIll. He has worked on a number of transactions at Astorg including Corsearch, Anaqua and Audiotonix. Michael joined Astorg in 2016 as an Associate Director. He holds an MA (Hons) from the University of Oxford and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Benjamin Cordonnier is part of the Business Services team and he currently sits on the boards of IPCOM, Normec and IQ-EQ. He has also worked on several other transactions at Astorg including Xceptor, IGM Resins, Kerneos and OGF. Benjamin joined Astorg in 2011 as an analyst after a one-year internship. He holds a Civil Engineering Degree from Ecole Polytechnique and Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in Paris.

Michal Lange is part of the Business Services team and has worked on a number of transactions including Fastmarkets, LGC and IQ-EQ. Prior to Astorg, Michal spent five years at Doughty Hanson where he worked on a number of investments across Europe. Michal joined Astorg in 2016 as a Senior Associate. He holds a Master's Degree in Finance and Banking from the Warsaw School of Economics and is a Chartered Financial Analyst® Charterholder.

Viviana Occhionorelli is responsible for Astorg's ESG programme which is recognized as best-in-class by numerous industry participants and many of our LPs. Initiatives she has led include the establishment of science-based climate related targets and systematic ratings by Ecovadis across our portfolio companies as well as active participation in other key ESG initiatives. Viviana joined Astorg in 2018. She studied Sustainable Development at Imperial College London, she holds a Master's Degree in Environmental Technology from Oxford Brookes and an MBA from Vlerick Business School.
