Managing Director, Portfolio Support
Markus joined Astorg in 2024 and is a member of the Portfolio Performance Team.
In this capacity, Markus works closely with our portfolio companies to provide comprehensive support on all CFO office-related matters.
Markus brings over 20 years of experience in finance, including 10 years with Sun European Partners and Apax Partners, where he supported CFOs on a wide range of finance-related matters as part of the operations teams. The remainder of his career has been spent in various CFO roles with private equity-backed companies. Most recently, he served as CFO of EcoOnline.
Markus holds a Master of Business Administration, Accounting/Auditing and Corporate Finance from the University of Augsburg, Germany.
